Painted during a lockdown, this is another artwork that shows Valens Lake of Ontario during winter. The little pine and trees around the frozen lake turned dark against a golden sky of the last sunrays above the lake. I remember the feelings of sadness that I was alone in the forest instead of having friends over as we used to have, but the beauty of the nature melted my heart with hope for another better day.
