A marsh under snow during a beautiful winter day with a blue sky, logs of cedar in a creek and snow on both banks of the water is rather a typical winter scene in Ontario. It is the angles of shadows of snow in the afternoon sun and the angles of logs, as well as a pristine sky with no single cloud that caught my attention while walking at local conservation area (Valens Lake, Ontario). The contrast of very clear and not disturbed sky versus the dynamic banks of the creek created an emotional contrast of calmness and evolving energy that we often observe in us and nature around us.
